Primrose Hill Nurseries, Cheshire
In 2025 Primrose Hill Nurseries invested in two Big Hats linked together, installed in their previously unused field. Their vision? To launch an outdoor event space that will be home to wellness events throughout the year.
"Over the past year we have been seeking to expand our offerings at Primrose Hill Nurseries. Initially we were interested in Yurts before coming across tipis from The Tipi Company. After 9 months of consideration, we decided to move forwards with tipis. This was largely in part due to the nature of the tipis being able to be linked together to create a larger space than a standalone unit such as a yurt.
This means that as the new offering at our business grows, we will have the space and capacity to deal with larger numbers. Our business goal is to launch the tipis as a new Wellness Centre in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. This means that regardless of the weather outside, come wind, rain or shine, our guests can enjoy peace and tranquillity during the workshops inside the tipis.
Working with The Tipi Company has been a smooth process and the Sales Team have very responsive to any feedback we have had. Looking ahead, we see potential for further growth and hope to a third tipi to the formation in time, pending planning approvals. We funded the purchase ourselves, reflecting our confidence in this investment. Overall, the tipis have been a valuable addition, enhancing our offerings and supporting our expansion into wellness-focused services."

Abersoch Garden Centre, Wales
Abersoch Garden Centre has transformed its previously unused outdoor space behind its main garden centre building with two Big Hats.
Launched for the Summer 2025 season, in the tipis they display all of their stunning outdoor seating range for customers to browse. Not only that but they have launched it as an outdoor event space where they host a variety of events from April to October such as Afternoon Teas, Cheese & Wine Tasting events, Wellness and Fitness Classes, Craft Workshops and Seasonal Events hosted by the garden centre. They also hire the tipis exclusively for weddings, family celebrations and local business parties.
By creating a vibrant, lively destination, they attract both tourists and locals, making the most of the busy season in Abersoch. The space offers a perfect blend of community gathering and entertainment in a beautiful outdoor setting.
